Illness & Healing in Taiwan Literature

  • DATE:2023-03-24~2023-10-29
  • VENUE:1st Floor, Exhibition Room D

In the post-pandemic world, people have decided to coexist with the virus instead of living with the initial anxiety that led to "fear for others" and "isolation for oneself." People are no longer afraid of the mild symptoms caused by the virus.

Nevertheless, there are many illnesses that cannot be cured fundamentally; we can only adapt to them. Writing, therefore, has been a way of self-healing. Illness in literature is also often a theme that writers choose to reflect social reality. Through introducing all types of illness, the exhibition presents the literary theme of "illness" in Taiwan Literature; we invite you to join us in this journey of "writing to heal."
